Macupdate lists this at $599, but it's $1299 to buy new, $649 to upgrade. Am I missing something?

Good feature set but outdated and slow GUI, lots of bugs and absolutely horrible update and pricing policy.

Registration is a mess, License System broken, for that money i expect at least this to work, the Premium features are buggy, now bug fixes for old versions, force you to buy new version, but mainly for bug fixes, Data Modeler e.g.e never worked for me, i upgraded from 10, because 10 has a bug, which restrains you from connect to multiple databases to the same ssh tunnel, e.g. not mysql and postgres on one server, now with v11, this is fixed, but the license system, gets lost, once your hard drive is broken

Since I may be on many database platform as a CTA, having a consistent platform that does what I need really works for me. The product continues to mature and is clearly better than it was a few years ago. Since I started with a low end version originally, my costs have been low. The entry price now is high, but for someone who does what I do, it is pretty much a no brainer.

Well i agree the fee seems to be a little bit high, but you must consider there is some new functionality, you might like and if needed justifies the fee, if not: The v9 still works fine on Lion ...

I upgraded to Version 11, they changed the license to be bound on the hard drive, so from time to time i am on the road, so clone my hard drive to my MacBook Pro, i must not forget to unregister the work Mac at home.
Finally my hard drive crashed, so now i am not able to use V11 anymore, even so i made an support ticket, still after 3 days still not able to use V11 ...
V10 has only one bug, which bothers me: it is unable to connect twice to ssh tunnels, which means i cannot use mysql AND postgres on the same remote server.

To make it short :
The new registration system of V11 is an absolute NO GO, so i pull back my review and do not recommend Navicat V11 !!!

$275 to upgrade from v9 to v10, just to get Lion support? That's criminal

Expensive -- almost prohibitively so -- but a very nice and solid program (especially if you can get it at a discount). Handles MySQL/Postgres/Oracle (SQLite support is lacking), SSH tunnels, backups, the works.
