Great App, just be careful to remember whether you bought it from the MAS or directly from the developer. I didn't realize I had purchased Chronicle from the MAS because in Purchases I had for some reason hidden it. When I saw an update on MacUpdate within the last week or two, I never considered having purchased it from the MAS. I updated from this site. Today, I went to pay bills and nothing showed. Nothing. Years of history and regular bills set up through the year and longer. I freaked! I should have realized what it meant when I could not find a license code anywhere in my email archives, LicenseKeeper, or 1Password. I went to MAS and it wasn't listed in purchases. I checked under my account settings and showed hidden purchases. There it was from back in 2012. I used AppDelete to archive and then delete the current version (just the App-nothing else) I had installed on Chronicle and then reinstalled from MAS. All my data is back! So please save yourself some anxiety and aggravation and check all of your MAS purchases first.
As for Chronicle, I use Quicken (ugh), but together with Chronicle I can keep up, even ahead, of what is due or coming up. I really couldn't function without it, and recommend it wholeheartedly.
I have had some support help with the developer in the past. He's a one-person operation, but still very responsive to his customers.
