EaseUS MobiMover Review [2021]: what is it and how good is it?

With us storing so much information on our iPhones these days, paying for more iCloud storage or waiting for slow wireless syncing speeds can be frustrating. Using a cable to transfer data between Apple devices will always be more reliable than a wireless connection and we don’t have to worry about long syncing process or data loss.

EaseUs MobiMover solves this problem as it allows you to transfer data from an iPhone to a Mac, Mac to an iPhone, or from one iPhone to another iPhone fast. You can also use it to manage the content on your iPhone with things such as exporting data and deleting items.

This comes in handy if you just purchased a new iPhone and want to transfer your data to the new one or you may want to move files from your iPhone to your Mac for backup. You can also move professional pictures from your Mac to your iPhone to take them with you on the go.

In this article, we will look at how to use EaseUS MobiMover and provide some examples of the powerful features that it has to offer with step-by-step instructions so that you can use MobiMover and get rid of the complexity that can occur in life when it comes to transferring data between devices.

How to Transfer Files Between iPhone and Mac (Also available on Windows)

This is one of the most common cases when it comes to our daily lives as we use our iPhones more than our Macs most likely. Every day we send text messages, make phone calls, take pictures, edit documents, and create notes on our device.

Transferring files between our iPhone and Mac not only puts them in another place for safekeeping but having them on our Mac also allows us to do more with them.

Being able to work in a more professional environment is way more productive than trying to complete tasks on our iPhone. We have access to powerful desktop-class software on our Mac that makes getting things done much easier and more productive. This can be things such as photo editors, video editors, or any other apps that you may use for your productive and creative workflow.

In this section, we’re going to take a look at how to transfer files between our iPhone and Mac.

Step 1. Download and install EaseUS MobiMover.

Step 2. Launch the app and plug your iPhone into your Mac. Your iPhone will need to remain plugged in for the entire time of the data transfer.

Step 3. Select ‘Phone to Mac’ from the side column and then click the “Next” button to move onto the data selection screen.

Step 4. Select the files that you would like to transfer from your iPhone to your Mac and then click on “Transfer”.

Select the files to transfer

You will then be greeted by a “Transfer” screen and the data that you selected to transfer, will be saved on your desktop in a folder created by MobiMover by default.

From there, you can do what you would like with the data that has been transferred to your computer. You can edit photos, share content with others, or simply have the data in another location for safekeeping.

This is also a great feature to use if you don’t have a ton of storage space on your iPhone as you can use it not only for sharing but to free up some storage too.

Note: Depending on how much data you selected to transfer, it may take some time for this process to complete. For me, it only took a couple of minutes.

How to Export your Contacts from your iPhone

Having the ability to export our contacts from iPhone makes it easy to put them on our computer for safekeeping or we may want to share a contact with another family member or friend and can do so via email or with any other service that you use.

Step 1. Launch the app and plug your iPhone into your Mac. Your iPhone will need to remain plugged in for the entire time of the data transfer.

Step 2. Go to Content Management.

Step 3. Once in Content Management, you will then want to select the data that you would like to transfer.

In this example, we’re going to export my contacts list but you will see that EaseUS MobiMover is able to handle many different files that are stored on your iPhone. You can export and transfer more than just your contacts from your iPhone.

This gives you the ability to save and share many other types of file formats.

Step 4. After you click on ”Contacts” in content management, you will see a full list of your contacts with their name, number, and extra info like company. I have blurred out mine for privacy. Here you can edit your contacts, and select part or the full list to export.

Step 5. After you have finished going through and selecting the contacts that you want to export, you will then click on the 3 dots on the right hand-side of the screen and you will have the option to transfer to Mac or another iPhone.

Step 6. Now that you have clicked on where you would like to transfer them, the transfer process will start and that’s it! You have now exported your contacts to your Mac or other device.

Overall Thoughts

EaseUS MobiMover gives you the ability to move files between your iPhone and Mac and from one iPhone to another.

While we do have services such as iCloud, storage costs money and data speeds can be slow for syncing when not using a cable. It is more reliable and efficient to transfer information directly using a cable from one device to another and you won’t have a dropped connection issue.

Purchase for Windows $29.95 for 1-year, available for 3 PCs.

Purchase for Mac $39.95 for 1-year, available for 3 seats.

Not only was the process easy to do, but it is beneficial for being able to have your data in more than one place. Also, having the ability to move your data to your Mac to use more powerful apps to get your work done is just something that makes sense and we all should be doing.
