Integrity Pro overview
Integrity Pro builds on Integrity Plus. It checks links and generates a sitemap with all the searching, filtering and exporting functionality of the Plus version. It adds SEO details and a sitewide spellcheck and more. It isn't intended to replace Scrutiny, but to be pitched between Integrity Plus and Scrutiny, a more affordable step for Integrity Plus users. There is, of course, an upgrade from Integrity Plus.
What’s new in version 12.8.9
- Important fix for all users. Using 'Limit crawl based on robots.txt' could cause the scan to stall if the user is blocking AI training bots. This is because Integrity was misinterpreting "User-agent: Google-Extended" (Bard) as one of the web indexing Google bots.
- Fixes a possible crash when using 'highlight' feature from within Link Inspector.
- Improves the fetching of images for the image preview window in the SEO>Images table. This may have been problematic for some users.
- Now observes rel=nofollow in a link, if at the point the engine comes to follow that link, *all instances discovered so far* are marked 'rel=nofollow'
- Fixes a layout problem with the page inspector (available in SEO and Sitemap tables)
- Updates the list of user-agent strings so that they're current versions.
- Some fixes to Spelling tables to problems that could have caused slowness, hangs or crash, particularly after sorting the 'by word' table.

If you're confused by the version numbering for Integrity, be comforted by the fact that the developer's website is equally confused and confusing:
• The current version series of Integrity is 6.
• Therefore, the new beta series is 8.
• Explanation: The developer is using the version numbering of his Scrutiny app engine, currently at version 7, as the basis for numbering Integrity.
• Technically, this first beta of Integrity Pro is version 8.0.1.
• The current beta version of Integrity Plus is 8.0.3.
Note of course that the finished version of Integrity Pro 8 will not be free. No price has yet been posted. Only the beta is free. Integrity Pro is intended to be an app in-between Integrity Plus and Scrutiny.. Guestimation suggests the cost of Integrity Pro will be somewhere in-between as well:
• Integrity Plus costs $15.
• Scrutiny costs $115.00.
• The current version series of Integrity is 6.
