Integrity Pro

9.3.5
20 November 2019

Easily find your website's broken links.

Overview

Integrity Pro builds on Integrity Plus. It has the new crawling engine, it checks links and generates a sitemap with all the searching, filtering and exporting functionality of the Plus version. It adds SEO details and a sitewide spellcheck. It isn't intended to replace Scrutiny, but to be pitched between Integrity Plus and Scrutiny, a more affordable step for Integrity Plus users. There is, of course, an upgrade from Integrity Plus.

What's new in Integrity Pro

Version 9.3.5:
  • Important fix for anyone who needs to export to csv, html or xml sitemap.
  • Fixes crash which may have been experienced on recent versions of the OS after OKing file save dialog.

If you're confused by the version numbering for Integrity, be comforted by the fact that the developer's website is equally confused and confusing:
• The current version series of Integrity is 6.
• Therefore, the new beta series is 8.
• Explanation: The developer is using the version numbering of his Scrutiny app engine, currently at version 7, as the basis for numbering Integrity.
• Technically, this first beta of Integrity Pro is version 8.0.1.
• The current beta version of Integrity Plus is 8.0.3.

Note of course that the finished version of Integrity Pro 8 will not be free. No price has yet been posted. Only the beta is free. Integrity Pro is intended to be an app in-between Integrity Plus and Scrutiny.. Guestimation suggests the cost of Integrity Pro will be somewhere in-between as well:
• Integrity Plus costs $15.
• Scrutiny costs $115.00.

Thanks for these notes, which are correct on all counts. I'm sorry about the confusion, but I have tried to explain all of these things in my blog posts.

You're right - i'm trying to keep the version numbers consistent across the range because they share an engine. This is why Integrity and I+ are skipping from 6 to 8, 7 was a UI redesign in Scrutiny with no major change to Integrity. The changes to the engine are significant but not very visible. (Internal data structures, making a lot more data readily available with less rebuilding of tables or calculating things on the fly).

Calling this beta 0.x was bound to cause confusion and perhaps a bad idea but there was a reason (relating to some people unfairly giving low star ratings for betas because of bugs, which you're stuck with for the rest of that main version) .

There has been a feature / price comparison on the website for a while, although not readily discovered - I'll make it easier to find. You're spot-on, it's priced exactly between Integrity Plus and Scrutiny.
