This software does what the developer promises it would FEWER THAN 1 TIME IN 10. It hardly ever recognizes my MBPro, iMac and iPad. I'm lucky if it sees even 1 of 3 devices with Wi-fi and Bluetooth activated and even then it's rare that it can make a successful transfer. The shared clipboard NEVER worked. The MB Pro and iMac are from 2011, but the iPad is new and all the OS software is up to date. The main purpose of the software is to add AirDrop functionality to older machines and it fails remarkably in this. Believe me, there's a reason why the developer's Support page doesn't work and doesn't provide an email address. This app and the extension are a complete rip-off!
Can someone tell me how to send the content of my Mac clipboard to my iPhone clipboard?
I just want to send text-snippets/clips (like long passwords, API-keys, Tracking-codes, etc.) from my Mac to my iPhone.
The description says its possible and super easy – but I don't get it!?!
Whenever I select a piece of text in Safari, Chrome, Quickview, etc., and select "send with Instashare" via the context menu, the menulette pops up and I can drag the dark gray clipboard "icon/bar/text"-thing to the iPhone icon. I hear some fancy sound on my MacPro and iPhone but the clipboard on my iPhone is empty?
The is no information on the developers homepage either.
There is exactly one (!) question and answer in the Support Forum! (and I have no idea if the question is actually related to the software at all! X-D)
Can anybody help me while I wait for the developers reply?
Thanks,
Dan
