What's new in Xeoma
Face recognition: improved algorithms of the intellectual module “Face recognition” to allow better recognition when training is conducted with faces at a maximum range (distance).
FTP Receiver: improved module’s operation with Dahua cameras. We fixed the issue with low FPS when working with the Dahua cameras through FTP.
Marking: added integration of the “Marking” module to work with the Ublox neo-7m GPS module. Now you can receive coordinates in Xeoma from this GPS module.
Local license server: added support for rented licenses and demo/trial licenses. Now you can activate these licenses using the ‘local license server’ activation option.
PTZ control: added a new icon in the PTZ control menu to use additional features that a camera provides through ONVIF. These can be turning on/off IR-illumination of the camera or a camera wiper, etc. The new icon can be found in the PTZ control menu available in the Single Camera View window.
The “HTTP Switcher” module’s icon is now available on the main page of Xeoma’s web browser interface – for webRTC streams as well. This module can be used for integration with various devices like gate barriers, sound alarms, smoke detectors etc.
Rebranding/Customization: fixed the issue with Xeoma name replacement on Windows. ‘Xeoma’ will be replaced in firewall rules with ‘Your Product Name’ after rebranding now.
Web interface: fixed the issue with displaying webRTC video in Firefox browser.

The only thing I am sorry about is that I did not find this great software earlier ) I like the set of features, like the simplicity of work and adjusting the settings. The interface is magic Did not expect something like this from such type of software product! So pleasant and user-friendly. I rate Xeoma 9 from 10 (just because there is always somewhere to grow!)
Xeoma software is very useful and powerful. It has got a lot of features, for example: motion detection, alerts etc. Works on computers and phone devices. I'm happy with using this software - it's easy to use also for newbies. Many pros and I can't see any cons. It's worth of its price.
Downloaded the trial version. After becoming familiar with the "Module" layout style of the program, there seems to be many nice features for video surveillance. The big drawback for me is the video file formats. Non of the offered video files will play on my Mac with Mountain Lion. The available files are AVI codec and Xeoma does not offer the MOV codec as an option for saving video files. Therefore all the video being captured and saved is not viewable on my Mac. Apparently the software is not designed to function entirely on a mac.
Mystery meat navigation and interface which is very hard to follow. Demo doesn't allow you to save settings - so this is not a FREE license, it's a DEMO. Pricing is per camera so 8 cameras would cost about $129. Way too expensive.
I have tested many surveillance programs and this one is the best: much easier to use, unusual but very interesting interface, works without problems and have many features.
I have 1 camera and use free version. Will buy new IP camera soon and buy Xeoma for sure! Great program! I can recommend for everyone.
