I often having to deal with the following problems: 1. Mail arrives, you get the notification, you click on the notification but it does not open its window. 2. You click onto its icon on the menu bar to open its window but you cannot see the unread message. You have to click refresh button to see the unread message.

Apparently replaced by "Go for Gmail" from the same publisher, which is even cheaper (i.e. free). I don't like the idea of cheap/free email clients. I don't want to be the product, especially with data this personal.

"the ideal app for instantly accessing your Gmail account" - i always read "your Gmail account", so the dev must be thinking of the whole world using gmail exclusively with one single account ? what a Disneyland ! at the time writing this comment I still can't believe this narrow imagination (especially in combination with a Google related application) and i honestly ask myself whether i am missing the real deal ... enlighten me, please !

The latest version [v5.2] keeps showing the window on startup/reboot even when the preferences are checked to hide on launch. A bit annoying but not a "deal breaker". Emailed the developer and got this reply: "Have you tried just closing the window by clicking the icon?" WTH kinda support answer was that? Anyway, I do like what it does. But if I'm paying any amount of money for an app I would expect it to work the way the options are selected. Confidence is low not because of the dev's reply. I will be checking some forums about this bug. . .

Not worth it, you Can't attach images or documents to messages, and it Doesn't have a check spelling function. It is just plain better to use Firefox or Safari and simply click on minimize to hide the window if you need to do something else.

Hi, I hope the developer reads this thread, I wasn't able to find a place on the website for the app itself to report bugs. As of yesterday, the gui for this program has become all disorganized, and the text looks distorted, it overlaps, the messages don't don't show up in the correct place, in fact, the first message is half covered by the toolbar. I've tried completely uninstalling the app, redownloading from the app store, rebooting the mac, and logging out and back into gmail. This is a very useful app to me, but I am unable to use it reliably in this current state. Thanks
