They both have a slider control panel and there is no way to understand what to do with them, from a real point of view. I would have easily paid double for something I could control.
That said, this is the one of the two applications I will be using, because its set of sliders allowed me to converge on an effect I want. And it has a promising lightning tool.

Regular and AppStore version of the app are separate. If you bought the app through the Store - just wait for the update in the Store, it's usually delayed a bit due to the review.

Fumy 2.0 does not work on this machine. The new requirements should be changed to reflect the need of a separate graphics card and the lack of support for Intel GMA Graphics.

The app doesn't require any specific GPU. It might be a bug, drop me a report so I can check the problem.

I have mistakenly uploaded a build with the protection turned off, i.e. it didn't accept any license. This issue is solved and the proper build is already uploaded - please, re-unstall the app.
You don't have to purchase the license again, "Fumy" accepts old "Smoke" licenses.
