I've gratefully used it for two years now. And today autoupdate informed me about 1.2.1 and I immediately obliged because Podnapisi search was broken... and now it doesn't open, since I'm on OSX 10.6 ; could you please make an 10.6-compatible version that fixes Podnapisi? and next time maybe check the system it's running on before suggesting an autoupdate...

Subsmarine is beautiful, but with only 3 subtitle sources and 1 of them not working, it feels broken. I've been using the program during my trial period and tried to contact support with no luck, for this reason I can't buy a full license. Today my trial ends and I will have to find another solution to get subtitles.

sorry about that. i missed to remove compatibility in the autoupdate feed.
could you drop us an email? you can find it in our contact page.
i could send you a link to a beta version which should work on 10.6

This is an excellent app. At first I thought why do I need to buy something to simply search for subtitles, but honestly this is so effortless and saves time that it is absolutely worth the money. Very elegant and focused user interface. Highly recommended.

Perfect for TV Shows. It can find the most of the subtitles, even for the last recent episodes

off to an excellent start... downloads and renames, and three languages should be most than enough... wishlist: - autoscan a certain folder every "x" minutes, and autodownload *if* there's an exact match - autoclean list, but keeping a log (maybe even better in the list itself, grayed-out or put at the bottom of the list). - more subtitles sites, and preference to set priority (order the sites so that it prefers the top ones, for autodownload).

one of a kind. still in early development, supports opensubtitles.org and podnapisi.net (need an account), beautiful and functional gui, downloads to the movie folder, subfolder support, the usual. there are a couple of bugs (reported to the author), limitations like if it tries to process a lot of files (around +700) the file list gets a graphic glitch and scrolling gets borked. also the language code appending to the file name (en, pt, es) can be handled better and you can only set 3 languages to search for. hope development doesn't get stalled. gems like this, are scarce in the mac world.
