SolEol overview
SolEol searches for subtitles for your movies by using a unique "electronic signature" (also called a "hash") on your files (downloaded or otherwise) and searches OpenSubtitles' massive database for matching results in your chosen language(s).
The application supports drag-and-drop, automated operation, and includes a basic CLI for automations. It also allows users to upload their own subtitles, be they obtained elsewhere or made from scratch, to share with the community and benefit people with similar needs.

Seems to work watching things as they happen, but, where are the downloaded subs? Why can't I chose where they go?

Not posting a review, because I'm using the v2 beta. Seems great, but the downloaded subtitles never appear in the video folder. So there seems to be a bug. Furthermore, the app creates a log file on the desktop (on the desktop!), and every developer needs to keep his frickin' hands off my desktop, especially since I've disabled it, disabled Finder, hidden the Desktop directory. Put the log file somewhere else, man! What about the Logs directory?!!

This app is extremely helpful. It is easy to search for subtitles and download them. I would recommend this tool for those who would like to learn foreign languages by watching movies in the target language.
