Time tracking and billing application.

I tested a lot of lot of different applications to satisfy my time tracking / billing requirements. Fanurio really has the bases covered. It is highly flexible, allows you to input and recall a lot of detail, and is easy to use. The support is also outstanding (the developers will even custom design your invoice templates for your for free). My only real complaint would be that it's a Java application, so it doesn't have a Cocoa look and it tends to eat up more memory than a typical native application, but with the memory and power of today's systems, it's no real hardship.

I really want to like this software. The developer is very responsive and quickly answers any questions or concerns. The interface is clear and functional. However, as a previous user of iBiz, I grew accustomed to recording all my appointments, work sessions and job notes within iCal/Calendar and then synchronizing/importing this info into iBiz for invoicing. Unfortunately, Fanurio does not yet support this function, which for me is critical.

Moved to this over a 3 day period of trialling following discovery that iBiz support was being discontinued. Settled on trial after reading reviews. Easier and more intuitive in most places compared to iBiz but the real killer for me was the amazing support I received. Did not seem to matter when I emailed Nicu - I received a reply either instantanesly or within a few minutes. And all advice was either spot on or very close. When as an IT numpty, I didn't or couldn't intrepret the instructions Nicu gave me, he took control of my app and and the issue was resolved within seconds. I am a one man band doing consultancy and this app suits me down to the ground. I am now happily producing invoices and recording projects tasks etc. It appears to be infinitely customisable and having now bought it I am looking forward to getting to grips with all its functionality. I have even successfully converted my iBiz data and imported it into Fanurio (with a one line helpful comment from Nicu). Feels really good to find an app that works for you the user and to have such a dedicated and responsive support team. I am using the latest beta version. Will be recommending this to my fellow Mac users. Great value for money too. 5 stars for Nicu and Fanurio!

With the discontinuation of iBiz by IGG Software, I needed a new software package that could do all the following: * import my iBiz data * time tracking * invoicing * recording payments * integrate with Mac OS X's Address Book * allow a high degree of customization of invoices and other reports I got all that and a lot more. The support offered by the development team is phenomenal. The 3.1 beta has the ability to import iBiz data.
