Poedit is a gettext translation (.po file) editor for Unix, Windows, and OS X. It aims to provide translators with a simple, easy-to-use user interface with all the essential tools, such as spellchecker or translation memory. It can also be used to manage translations for small projects.

Support is awful and the product is not up to par.
Also expensive for my budget.
I would not recommend especially because of the support, never had so much unprofessionalism from a product service support.

A bit buggy, but once you're working with original .pot file, it works fine.. I've just translated whole jigoshop .pot file for wordpress without any crash.
Since this is the only software for translating .pot files, its very useful. I had great time using it :)

So far it has the advantage to be the only PO editor for Mac out there.
On the other hand, it is still very unstable, and it lacks a lot of practical options (search options, wildcards, batch replacement options, auto-correct options, etc).
