Used to love the app, but when I upgraded from vers 1.5 to 2 (and 2.10) it crashes upon launch on 10.6.8. Tried running in 32 bit mode, tried deleting old database and prefs, still crashes so early on launch new prefs aren't even created. No sure how to let the author know there might be a problem since he is from the Ukraine, the site is not in English and I don't speak Ukrainian, but apparently he reads these reviews.

Anyhow, not to complain about a useful free app, but suggest backing up your old version before upgrading if you're running a configuration similar to mine -- just in case!

try remove old settings from
~/Library/Application Support/ipswDownloader
~/Library/Preferences/com.igrsoft.ipswDownloader.plist
~/Library/Preferences/ua.com.ibrain.ipswDownloader.plist

or reload DataBase CMD+R

p.s. but why does'nt it show at apple tv2 no seasonpass jealbreak for 5.0 ?

oh... v2.0 contain bug with db reload ((
go to prefs, and set update time to - "at startup"
and relaunch app,
it will be fixed in next release ;)

does exist a version for macbook osx 10.5.8? i really need firmware 5.0.1 but the apple server is always not found,what's wrong with the server?

sorry, but ipswDownloader didn't support 10.5

Dev should just make one version, not separate 32/64 bit versions -- all you have to do is Get Info and select 32-bit for the 64-bit version -- easy as that...
