This software is awesome and I applaud the author. It would be nice to be able to edit contacts, but geez software like this is hard to come by. I use it everyday.
Doesn't work for me with a Google Voice number attached to a personal hosting account. Keeps giving me the error that I do not have a google voice number associated but I do. Had it for some time now.
"Unable to set up your Google Voice account, the error we received was "Unable to login. Please check your Credentials." Please go back and correct the problem."
Does the GoogleVoice login operate separately from any other Google logins that may be active in Safari? ie. Can we be logged in to VoiceMac with Google account A, while being logged in to Google account B in Safari?
Also, what is GeckoReporter.framework?? (in the app bundle)
I tried... It doesn't work at all (for me)... Cannot pass login... It is not intuitive... I know nothing about setting up SIP and other nonsenses (like Proxy, etc.)... I am not software developer - I am simple user, so I need something simple and efficient... This VoiceMac app is neither simple, nor efficient... Sorry... Skype rules!...
Excellent application... although just rebuilt from the ground up, it's a tad buggy. Switching phone numbers is not intuitive, the Skype theme has some major CSS overlap and there's quite a delay between the time I actually get a text in GV and when VoiceMac relays it to me. All in all, a very nice job!
I cannot get this version of voicemac to recognize my google voice account. It says I do not have a number and must set one up. This is odd because I have used voice mac in its previous incarnations with no problems (at least no problems getting the app to recognize my google voice number).
The app takes too much time to logout. Sometimes, when I log in some UI controls and objects doesn't work well in Contacts window (like phone to ring or the call history).
SMS works fine. However, when I try to call out it says "Error while trying to call." Error code: null. This is on Voice Mac Beta 5. Not sure why this is happening, is there something I can do? I'm running OS X 10.5.8
It is a good idea for using Google Voice. But I got a big problem when I using beta 4. It always crash when I tried to log in my account. Any solutions?

With the reverse lookup data, you can see who is calling you, even if their number isn't in your contacts list.
With themes, you can customize your SMS Messages look anyway you like with simple HTML or by downloading a theme.
VoiceMac's contacts system is one of the best contacts system around, with support for Address Book and Google Contacts. You can search your contacts just like a Search Engine with speed.
