SimpsonBot displays random quotes from the Simpsons. SimpsonBot has over 1100 quotes. Click on the character to get another quote from that character. Click on The Simpsons logo to get another random quote.

It looks like this hasn't been updated in a long time.
This is a bug, and a tip for users:
When there is a long quote, which requires a scroll bar, make sure to scroll back up before leaving the dashboard. If this is kept scrolled down, you may see textless windows. It seems the widget remembers where you scrolled to, and doesn't default to the 'top' position.

Has anyone else had this widget crash? I haven't had any reports, so I am at a loss as to what happened for the user below. Please email me if you experience any troubles.

This issue has never been reported.

Very clean interface, lots of quotes, and even little icons of the characters. Great idea for a widget!!! I could sit here and read quotes all day long. The only thing is (like just about every internet list I've seen of simpsons quotes), many of the quotes have minor inaccuracies or are slightly misquoted. But otherwise, a great widget.

i forgot to mention in what's new that there are a few more character images now and that (when threre's a character with multiple images) a random one is choosen.

Several of these appear every time the widget tries to load a quote. Also, I'm not too fond of the bloated-looking window, but that's just personal preference. I wish I didn't delete the previous version.

i'm still playng with the design, so thanks for the input. also, thanks for the heads up on the error-- i hadnt check the consol in a while. i'll be sure to get that under control.

sure. i agree that the simpsons have gotten a bit stale, but the quotes are classics i think. funny is funny as far as i am concerned.

i'll have a family guy widget out by next week. thanks for the suggestion.
