  • In Invoice Creator, the Invoice Date is now separate from the Payment Date. If no Payment Date is specified when you click Add Product to Invoice you will be asked for an Invoice Date. When you click Create Invoice, if there is no Amount Paid, you will be asked if you want to add a Payment. If no payment is added, the Invoice Date will be used.
  • If you change the label for a Misc field in Inventory Tracker Preferences, you will be asked if you want to remove all the previously entered data in that field.
  • The Find field in the Go To Contact dialog is now always initially empty.
  • Changing a name in Contact Tracker, now updates Invoice Creator and Inventory Tracker.
  • Sort By Date or Invoice # options have been added to Customer Account window. Also, there is now an option to print only 1 Page. You will need to specify the number of lines in the report (plus totals) that equals one page.
  • Fixed problem computing the Invoice Total when a Discount was applied to a Labor Charge or Other Charge.
  • Other minor improvements.
  • In Expense Tracker there is a new Automatically Duplicate Expense (ADE) option. If you want the record automatically duplicated each month because it is a recurring expense then click the ADE button and then enable the Automatically Duplicate This Expense Each Month option. Then when you click the Add New Expense Now button, all records with this option enabled will be duplicated for the current month.
  • Use your barcode scanner to enter a Stock Number in Inventory Tracker.
  • When you click the Add Product to Invoice button in Invoice Creator to add Inventory Items, you will first be asked if you want to add an Inventory Item (including Assemblies) or an Other Item type. If you choose Inventory Item you will next be asked if you want to Enter or Scan a Stock Number or pick an item from a list. You can go directly to this option by clicking the Add Product to Invoice button with the ctrl or command key held down or by pressing F2.
  • Now you can use your barcode scanner to add a Stock Number to an invoice.

I agree part of the way with thirstyrobot's comments. I used the MacUpdate download and wasn't asked for my email. The GUI for this is terrible. It looks like a hodge of podge of buttons and boxes a kid would use for his first basic program.

For $249 this better look a helluva lot more professional than this cheap knockoff of FileMaker Pro templates I can download or make myself for free.

Business software shouldn't be a nightmare to navigate or an eye sore beckoning the user to poke their eyes out after 5 minutes of hell. Clutter and chaos isn't a strong selling feature.

The authors of this should invest the first two or three suckers that pay for it into upgrading the GUI pronto. Make it one (main) or two (prefs/inspector) windows and use tabs to switch between things. This is the year 2011 not 1990.

Where do I start in pointing out the flaws with this sorry looking app...

- how it demands you cough up an email address before allowing you the privilege of downloading the demo app...

- an GUI interface with a look and feel that harkens back to the days of Windows 3.1...

- the mealy-mouthed way it goes about trying to get you set up.

This developer can't be serious...cannot be serious...in launching an app like this in this state and expecting Mac users to buy a licence.
