After updating to Mac Ventura 13.1 my Google drive disappeared out of Locations. I had to do some funky stuff to get it to appear again, but to get to the files online I have to go into .My Drive. Any folders under .My Drive I can access and actually move to Favorites so I got it working sorta. It would be nice if things wouldn't just stop working over a minor upgrade.

This stopped working for me more than a year ago. The installer always fails but leaves a Google Drive app on my Mac. I open that app and it always fails to recognize my files or to sync. Left much feedback, but have given up on this one. Mac OS version 10.14.6

Version 55 works well for me but version 56 does not accept my log-in. Went back to 55 and all is well.

I don't longer use it but CyberDuck instead. Many other programs also can access Goggle Drive.

I was using GD for so many years! The Backup and Sync worked great for all these years. With the update, it was all over. I spent 2 months trying to tune it, installing, uninstalling, together with the IT support at my school. Nothing worked. And it's not the worst when it doesn't sync. It stuck my personal account with duplicates of the files to the point there was no space any more, It mixed my personal and school accounts. I think it's time to look for something else.

Backup & Sync used to work great until this new upgrade. Now you can only mirror all of your files on Drive with your Mac, instead of selected folders. Make sure you pause synchronizing.
