Version: 12.8
"The Free version allows you to recover up to 2GB files for free" - that's pretty impressive.
The interface is not very intuitive.
The buttons are named poorly, the preferences choices are a bit bizarre (one section is just blank), BUT - This thing WORKS.
I erased the main disk on an old machine preparing to sell it, and realized there were a few things I neglected to back up. I was able to retrieve those files easily (once I figured out the interface quirks).
Considering it's free and offers such reasonably powerful functionality, I'm going to gladly give it four stars. It came to the rescue.
