A good start - needs flexibility With so many apps in this space it's hard to stand out from the pack. GS does a nice job with a very Mac-like, uncluttered, appealing approach. If you haven't, it's worth a test drive. I like the "Arrange" feature for it's simplified approach to window sets. Quickly, I can have one main window filling the left-hand side of my screen and two smaller windows dividing the right-hand side. Think Mail on the left and two finder windows for attachments on the right. Less elegant is making sure I get the left-hand side filled with the application I want -- the application open when you engage GS becomes the first in a list of windows to be arranged. I suppose this makes sense, but I'd still like a little more flexibility. I'd like to choose which app goes into which window.
Still a good app. YMMV window management is an individual taste.
Many windows mangers for mac on the market and every one has one good feature but gridsutra is the only one that combines all the great features in one place . Menu bar utility with predefined layouts with great preview, and custome layouts for all open windows at one click and the killing feature is that all this will can be customised by hot keys . Wonderful app from a great company.
