Avast Passwords overview

Avast Passwords won’t lock you on one browser or device. Use it on Safari or Chrome, iOS or Android, and easily auto-fill login information for all of your accounts.

Features
  • Safe storage across every device - Saving passwords on your phone or browser? You’re leaving them vulnerable to hackers and thieves. Store them under five layers of encryption, and back them up on the Avast Cloud, so they can be reached on all your devices.
  • Easy to use, easier to start - Already have your passwords saved elsewhere? Don’t worry: we can quickly and easily import the passwords saved on Chrome and 1Password for safer storage, without all the copy-pasting.

PC World reported that Avast Security have just been pinged for selling all the data of their users to jumpsuit. Do you feel safe with a company that does that? Pity because the PW manager was a good replacement for 1Password.

So far this app still has syncing and iOS device authorization bugs! I would say give it another year or stick with 1Password. It has promise but, its almost unusable right now without being able to sync passwords across devices. Their forums show the same issues.

Gave it a tryout, but it's very basic at the moment. Enpass is a much better option if you're looking for a free password manager for a desktop OS.
