The free YouTube Video Downloader works fine - this upgrade, for me, does NO more. I can't merge videos files so I use a different company's freeware. Support? Sales support is great when you're buying - if you have an issue they don't reply. Suggestion: there are multiple freeware versions of software out there that do more than this paid "Pro" version ... I can't recommend it.

this is a bullshit software. can't convert .ts files and the tech support is horrible they do not reply for 24hrs. they also refuse refund when asked only 3 days after the software was bought and replied to all queries. they keep trying to do some bullshit. they are cheaters

Software works well, but was upset to have their support team accuse me of installing it on three computers when I only have one. When performing clean MacOS installs this software must be using GUID instead of the machine's hardware MAC address for identification and it blitzed my activations. The "hidden" button labelled Remove License is very well hidden and not mentioned anywhere on their website product support pages as of the date of my post. The button's existence should be better documented on their website and perhaps better labelled as "Deactivate License" like other developers have done. This recent support experience really leaves a bitter taste in my mouth, especially when they attempt to sell me a family license for my one lowly Mac!

Do NOT buy this software. Not even considering the above average price, the fact that most functions can be done for free, they also limit the number of registrations you can do with their key, If you upgrade your mac you have to rebuy. I contacted the customer support team, they twice replied trying to sell me something, then simply refused to help asking me to "be fair". These people are such a joke. And no im not using it on any other machine. Just would like to warn you.

Please, MacUpdate. Make it stop. Your site is polluted with copyright-infringing clone-ware. From MacX to Wondershare to Sidify and a dozen others, it's all the same program with slightly different GUIs and marginal performance, not to mention registration and support issues. Continuing to allow this just makes visitors question your site and its credibility. It would be in the best interests of you and your members to finally shut this nonsense down. Please.

Same App as this one: https://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/51991/total-video-converter-pro (wich itself matches some slighty older codebase from a Wonderhare app). Gonna download it and analyze it, as most of these clones spawns different Services and/or installs stuff silently that themselves launches stuff even if you have removed the application. But i will get back to that when it's done. The part on using Open Source libs and code and don't follow the licenses is a never ending story that i gave up on…

It works fine for youtube downloads. The most nice thing is that can pause and resume the downloads. I never used that to convert anything. But there is one problem. If I press the youtube button before the update check finishes the window gets stuck. I have to force close the app and open it again.

Finally something that will download YouTube videos. I must admit I haven't tried it for anything else, which is why this is only a comment rather than a review. But many thanks, Digiarty Software. I've become sick and tired of hearing my husband complain about not being able to download YouTube videos any more.
