Just to make it clear: this is a Slack alternative, with similar features, only cheaper - i.e., while there is a 'free' account (as there is with Slack and others), it is hoped that you will eventually upgrade to their pay-per-month version.

Wasn't Flock a web browser backin the day? I had a copy of it. It was back around the time of Panther.

"Wasn't Flock a web browser, back in the day?"

You are correct, sir! It was updated once and then it was transitioned to a chat app. I have both of the browser versions. (Because I'm a hoarder, like on "Hoarding: Buried Alive," except that I hoard software. Wanna fight about it?

I still have the browser in my SnowLeopard collection of browsers. I'm too tired to fight.

I still prefer for my use (and to point out to you): TextSecure, ChatSecure or Threema.
