No, it's only for the manipulating of GPX files. You can use other apps such as Basecamp to push GPX files to the GPS unit.

GPX Editor does what I need it to do. Admittedly, my needs are pretty simple, as all I use it for is to occasionally edit and correct a section of a GPX track where my phone lost it for a few minutes. The app is easy to use and works reliably, it's priced right, and the developer is responsive and continually adding features.
