Barsoom overview
Barsoom lets you rearrange any menu bar items in the order you want, and keep your menu bar in order between restarts. Simply rearrange them with the natural OS X way, Cmd-Drag-and-Drop. You can also hide items that you do not need to see simply by Cmd-Right-clicking on the item. Or with the new feature, 1-Click Hide, you can quickly hide everything to the left of the Barsoom icon. You have some apps which have to manage many items in 1 app, such as apps which monitor your system stats. Barsoom can manage them all.

Barsoom v3.0 for Mojave was released in October, 2018. Read about and download it HERE: https://www.seense.com/barsoom/macosmojave/ - - It's a 64-bit app and therefore is likely to work on macOS Catalina. [I'm skipping Catalina and have not tested.] The dev is active, but is focusing on other apps. His website is out-of-date and his Twitter feed says nothing further about Barsoom.

Does a great job of keeping my menu bar nice and clean. Highly configurable, means allowing me to hide only the apps I want.

- Hasn't been any updates
- Application doesn't consistently work well
- Usually have to quit and restart in order to hide items
- Bartender hides more items than this app does
- Wish it would be updated to fix above issues

While I am a paid customer of Barsoom, please note that with macOS High Sierra there is no longer a need for it. Simply hold down the "Command" key and drag any icon on the menu bar where you want it and its position will persist, even after a restart. Finally, Apple...finally!

Doesn't work for me. My icons are all mixed up after a restart. Either Barsoom is incompatible with recent Mac OS versions or its a bug that should be fixed... because presently that app simply doesn't do what's written on the tin.
