I use Roboform Everywhere since 2 years now, and I find it very useful and efficient. Compared to 1password, its major advantage is the very good Windows version (I use both platforms) and the ability to access your passwords from any computer (I also have a Chromebook and a Surface Tablet)... Great app. It does the job. One or two caveats, though: saving login credentials cannot be done manually. It can only be saved when you log in on a website for the first time. And the auto log off on my Mac doesn't work. I have to log off manually. It works on Windows, though.

Great in concept but really lacks in technical background. When I went to uninstall the plugin from Firefox, it put it in a really weird place rather than in Firefox's extensions directory. Re-installing Firefox didn't even get rid of it. It ended up being put in a Mozilla plugins directory which is inherited by Firefox. I'm stearing clear of anything this developer makes.

I've been using Roboform since it came out! I have hundreds of passwords that I have no clue what they are, but Roboform does. Cross platform compatability is very handy as well.

Purchased this a few days ago and have been using in regularly since. Found it to be a useful piece of software once you get used to it.

Don't ever download this garbage. Not only is it subpar to everything else out there, you cannot get rid of the Firefox extension. I deleted EVERYthing (including invisible Roboform files) and the extension is still in Firefox although it's disabled. So there you go, it's all cosmetic malware as it turns out. You can't even totally delete this.

Hello, we are very sorry to hear this. To clarify: are you running Firefox 57 and the latest version of the RoboForm Extension? If so, there should be a Remove button in the Extensions menu of Firefox.

If you are still having issues however please submit a ticket so that we can reproduce and investigate: https://www.roboform.com/support

found the solution myself and ....the support did not help me.

found the place where the extension was hidden. This little bastard did not install in

~/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/default.z99/extensions

the uninstaller did not work for me because it did not look into this place.
you may want to change this.

but in
~/Library/Application Support/Mozilla/Extensions

Hello, thank you to all those who responded re:Firefox. We currently sideload the extension, hence the different install directory and behavior. Starting with our next release we will use Add-ons from Mozilla.org (AMO) which should resolve this.

Good program but unusable for several days now because of Safari 10.1 / OSX 10.12..4 compatibility problems. Unbelievable because Apple released several beta versions so they should have known about these issues and should have fixed them before the release, not after.

I have used RoboForm since 2006 on my Windows machines. I was happy with it then as I am now with the newest versions for my iMac (no more Windows for me) It's a real bargain now as RoboForm is only 10 bucks and a decade ago it was $30. It has the function to work across different devices and works as well on Firefox for Mac as it does on Safari.

The app seems to work fine with a few simples tests. However, I'm not pleased that Safari was sent to an ad page upon installation and yet another ad upon removal. The "but wait, there's more" approach does not help build my trust, and trust is required for this sort of application. I highly recommend 1Password; secure password storage is not worth skimping on.

1password heads straight for your wallet for expensive annual subscription now. KeepassXC or MacPass are awesome for individual accounts (and free).
