ok, so to use it, you need an 'access code'. Fine, type in email and get told due to high demand, "can't let you in immediately" with a waiting time of 4 DAYS and 10HOURS before I receive my access code. Alternative is to push the button that says "Get in Faster" and have a series of "tweeps" - share the joy using Twitter - well, I don't have a Twitter account, so I have to wait 4 days and 10 hours to get an access code. NOT IMPRESSED to say the least. Do I dump the app or do I wait 4+ days for an access code only to see what the next hurdle is? 0.5 star for the moment (being highly generous!!). IF I decide to wait 4 days, will post experiences after receiving my access code.

I have to give minbox a low grade as it keeps crashing after a long time but not before the first upload is finished. Combine this with the inability to resume after the crash and you have pretty much useless app for a good service in theory. I can't live with theories alone even though I appreciate the effort.

I initially rated Minbox very poorly, given the long wait time to access the app. However, since my previous review, I have had time to use Minbox on a regular basis and find it very useful for my particular routine. For someone like me, who has little reason to purchase a paid Dropbox account (though I do love Dropbox), Minbox is perfect for sending large video files (500MB+) to coworkers. No issues with upload or download speeds. I did have an issue with the app crashing when I tried to access the preferences, but I received a response and a fix within 24 hours of my initial message. The wait was long, and the app still isn't absolutely perfect, but it is certainly much, much better than I initially thought it would be.

Utterly Incapable of moving files of any substantial size. Perfectly functional with ultra-small text files and the like.

Another 3 days waiting (now >7 days in total) and still getting delaying message: "You're next up, but we're under unexpectedly high load. Please wait for your invitation to be ready... " so my question is - is anyone out there actually using it? are there real-world users out there ?? (real-world users not affiliated with the company - let's have some independent verification that the app exists and works as described please) until such verification/proof of use/existence is forthcoming, I suggest the app is vapourware...

I also had a 4 day wait time, which is now up to a total of 7 days given the "unexpectedly high load" they claim they are under. This appeared to be a good alternative to dropbox sharing/file sharing sites, but this wait to use it is just silly. Maybe Minbox wasn't quite ready for a public release. Vaporware indeed.

ok, so having waited my 4 days + for access, I now see the message " You're next up, but we're under unexpectedly high load. Please wait for your invitation to be ready..." it's a crock! vapourware!! a con! does not function/does not exist (take yr pick). it's a scam. Time to delete from my system. Can't review app performance as I have yet to be able to use it. Can't review app features, ease of use, value or stability because it doesn't exist.
