If you wanna go for Tincta Pro, be aware that the developers have petitioned Apple to have it included in the MacCrapStore; if you consider the MacCrapStore to be persona non grata in your Mac using life as I do, then don't dally and purchase it now. Of course, if Mr.Fridge continue to make TP available directly from them as well, that would be great, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

This is abandonware. The only app currently available from the developer is Workabulary.

Doesn't seem to be any way to purchase it at the moment, either app store or the site, and they do not respond to emails.

I'm glad to see a "Pro" version of Tincta. Just one comment, without having used Pro—an integrated file browser is _not_ a substitute for a proper project management facility, as in TextMate 1.x (but alas, not in TextMate 2, so far) or Xcode or many many other higher-end code editors. Short version—project resources are pulled from all over one's disk and even from remote locations, and includes things other than code. And making a folder of aliases is a PITA and still does not address all the needs of project organization.

I have been using the free lite version (Tincta) for a while now and I found it to be a very useful editor. It's very fast, has a very clean interface and all basic text editing features. (I always found TextWrangler very confusing) However I was happy to see that there now is a Pro version, too. I don't necessarily need all the Pro features but especially the split view and regex search make working more convenient for me.

Be sure that we will continue to offer all our software on our on website (after all Apple takes a big share of the revenue for each item we sell through the AppStore). We don't like the AppStore either but we accept that a lot of people prefer buying Apps there. No matter if you buy our App in the AppStore or directly on our website we will always offer the same support. Though due to the review process AppStore users usually wait some days longer for updates and buying on our website often is a bit cheaper (no 30% Apple fee :-) )

Hey Mr Fridge, that's music to my ears;I have the utmost respect for developers who continue to offer their wares directly from their websites. Nice to hear that you didn't totally sell your souls to the devil!
