Quick look at this program shows potential for "artifying" photos at a very reasonable price. Have not purchased, however, because (1) image cannot be moved in preview window when fine tuning with sliders, (2) application does not remember window size settings on launch and, most important, (3) while final render when saving appears far better than previews, the understandable demo watermark is so busy that the saved results cannot really be evaluated. Good start, though; I'll watch it.

Having paid and downloaded (via browser and MU) I'm unable to activate or register or use Sketcher - the relevant links are greyed out. Help please.

My current version of Sketcher (1.2) was purchased through MacUpdate. I see now that there is a more recent version. The app doesn't seem to have a "Check for updates" option. How could I update what's installed to a newer one?

Thank you. Even at the regular price, this ranks up there with the far more expensive apps that come close to doing what this app does. As a professional graphic designer, this app makes me look like a expert AND the results you get are GREAT

It's a fun little app. Bought it, downloaded it and quickly came up with some very pleasing watercolors that looked completely "unPhotoShopped". But one problem. I can't Save. I can Export to TIFF or JPG, but can't Save in native format. Just says "Error creating file". Bug? (Absolutely nothing shows up in Console log when it fails.) 10.6.8 on an Intel Mac.

Purchased, downloaded, and installed. I'm not seeing all the features that are posted in the user guide video on the developer site, such as paint blend and water mix. I never had to insert a serial number either. What's the deal?

interesting app that yields a wide range of effects. if it had the ability to save image manipulation settings as presets, i'd probably shell out for it.

Excellent little app that is Best-in-Class compared to Corel Painter's Auto Paint or Photoshop's Artistic Effects Filters. And it is superior to Adobe PixelBender. It is also superior to Corel Painter's Sketch effect filter. This is the best Watercolor/Opaque watercolor effect filter I've seen so far, at any price. This app saves time when using Adobe Photoshop's Brush engine to convert an image to a painterly effect.
