After trying dozens of free and paid apps, I finally settled for this. This is exactly what I wanted. Simple and good keyboard support. And it's other features don't get into your way. P.S. I mostly work with text.

5 bucks for a clipboard saver.... Hmmm. Sorry. And while I'm here, please let me mention Jumpcut- a utility I've been using for many years, and it's still going strong through multiple OSX updates. Kudos.
