This is based on Handbrake. What is the advantage of using this as "middleware" instead of using HB itself?

Well. Just tried it on an mkv movie to Apple TV 2. Worked perfectly for me. And its free. Would love to have the option to convert to mpg for DVD burning.

Well, it doesn't work good. The quality is in some way very very bad and sometimes very good. For me not workable. Sorry, even if it is free

Good simple app that does one thing! Thank you Teagon. Disregard detractors. Drag and drop then all is done!

This app is a joke. You cannot turn off subtitles (it won't let you!), it's as slow as the retards who run the Tea Party, it produces dreck, and the developer's English is utterly unintelligible, yet s/he's not sharp enough to have it copy edited, resulting in claims both here and on their website that Tegan can transcode to MPEG and several other formats, though it ONLY transcodes to H.264 - BADLY!

This app works like a dream. Drag your movie into the box and go and make a cup of tea. Nothing to it. It's faster than Handbrake and a lot less fiddly. It converted my avi and wmv movies to mpeg format without a murmur. And the price isn't bad either. Thanks, developer!
