For some reason this was the easiest 3D package for me to learn and be productive in. It is spline based modeling. The hierarchical object setup came very natural to me. I'd have to say the biggest negative to this software is the general lack of information on it. There are a few resources though. http://www.shade3donline.com/forum/index.php http://www.shadecamp.net/wiki/Main_Page 3D World mag issue 123 has Version 8.5 Pro free. http://www.3dworldmag.com/page/3dworld?entry=3d_world_123_now_on
