This program imports only data in text files. This is a huge limitation and one which curiously appears in many other plotters that are otherwise fine. Adding some form of binary input is trivial which makes its absence even more mystifying.
It's pretty good, but it easily gets into a death spiral if multiple graphs are loaded in the same window and their visibility is often toggled. Once one of the graphs stops reacting to the checkbox, the rest will soon follow and eventually it becomes impossible to modify, delete or add any data series. Deleting one of the graphs is almost a guarantee to instantly make the list get all mixed up and unresponsive. This should be fixed.
Hurra - it works again (with OS 10.6.3) and got some new features.
The GUI is very intuitive. Handling is very easy. It offers several possibitlities to plot and to show data. It never crashed. And it's free!
Really good job - congratulations to Makoto Tanahashi!
MjoGraph doesn't work on my MacBookPro (2.16 GHz; 2GB; OS 10.6.1).
It stopped working after the installation of OS 10.6. After starting MjoGraph it "disappears" after one or two seconds. Very sad because I like MjoGraph. Any idea?
This seems a potentially useful application. But I couldn't find any way to add error bars to the graphs. That would rule it out for much scientific data presentation if this facility is not available.
In addition to my first posting here:
It works very fine on my MacBookPro and this is not PPC based but Intel platform.
So, should/could the author complete the platform information? (I did not test every feature on Intel.)
Really good app!! Though it got a lot of features, it is very, very easy to handle - stable - plotting in many different ways - unbelievable: it is free!
If you have a lot of data and you want to plot them: Try MoGraph - you will no longer search for another program.
Congratulations to Mr. Tanahashi amd thank you!
