HyperImage used to be a great app for browsing and batch downloading from your various Tumblr feeds, but Tumblr changed their API which completely broke Tumblr integration within HyperImage. This was in mid-2012, and all Kavasoft had to do was update HyperImage to support the new Tumblr API. Kavasoft are non-responsive to emails.

It's late 2013 and KavaSoft have yet to update HyperImage, yet they still sell HyperImage on their website, despite the fact that every single Tumblr-based feature they advertise NO LONGER WORKS. They still call HyperImage "a full-featured Tumblr client." False advertising, pure and simple.

Hyperimage is the typical app you would use every day if you need to download thousands of pictures on a particular topic...
Unfortunately, it's quite unstable, heavy and not very efficient.
No way to stop the search. Download is automatic, you can't select your pictures in the results and then download them.
Or maybe you can, but it's not intuitive. Therefore, it's not an app I can like...

Do they ever answer to the mails ?
I move from an old Mac Pro to a new one, impossible to move the licence so I bought a new one for a discount price and never received my new licence.
Mailed maybe 4 time....no answer...
Not happy with this kind of after sale...
Come on, be a bit more serious guys.
Good product, but very bad service !

Is this a paid update from version 2 or is the updte to version 3 free? I cannot find any answer on developer's website and the version 3 doesn't accept my serial from version 2.

Yeah, very bad policy of the company. I doesn't warn that it is a paid upgrade, first after installing you see a line that says it is a paid upgrade.
So I remove vs 3 and replaced the previous version from Time Machine.
Had they give a warning before upgrading I might have considered the paid upgrade.
Now I will just stick to my present version and never ever upgrade.
