What’s new in version 9.0
- MuLab and MUX Modular Plugin have merged into a single uniform architecture. This means that MuLab 9 App can now also function as a stand-alone synth or effect, even without composer. And it also means that MuLab 9 Plugin can now function as a DAW. Thanks to the enhanced modularity also any hybrid combination of composers / synths / effects is possible.
- Both MuLab 9 App and MuLab 9 Plugin can open the same project files. This means you can make a project with MuLab 9 App and open it in MuLab 9 Plugin in another DAW, and vice versa.

this is not free software. The application downloaded is a demo without a key ( of payment) does not allow or save documents. Therefore, it has no free feature other than that of allowing the program to be tested. What is good to know, and decide your payment or not. But it is not a free program. Nor have I seen on your website, if previous versions were free or not.That could be interesting for those of us who continue to use "old" machines according to the norm imposed by the Apple market.

Not a lot of FREE programs that can host VST Instruments, eh? Well, this is one and does it better than I expected. It's not pretty, it's not easy, it's still pretty awesome though.

5.3.25 is the current version, with a creation date of December 19, 2013. You'll find this version number listed in the 'What's New' list above. I think it is well past time MacUpdate ditched the '3.0' listing on this page. *Please*
Note that this application is NOT compliant with Apple's user experience guidelines. It looks like a Linux application, although it is only available for Mac and Windows. Therefore, it takes a bit of getting used to with ALL the controls/menus being inside the application window. There is nothing available via the Mac's menubar, which only lists the application name.
It can be used with or without a MIDI device attached. It has a huge selection of personalization features. For free, it's terrific! But be prepared to climb the learning curve.
