I don't like it because: 1- It's free for 2 crummy versions of Solitaire. I HATE these versions. If you want to play Klondike for example you have to ante up!2- You can't see the Foundation deck it is submerged in the BLACKNESS of the background.BOTTOM LINE:Watch out for software that declares themselves FREE there is sometimes a "BAIT AND SWITCH"

Version 6.36 has been released. According to the dev, the update contains "a few minor updates".

New in Version 6.20: Scoring system changed for "Accordion" solitaire New in Version 6.36: Fixed problem in Crazy Quit Cards size adjusted Cameras updated New boards added Can now change game speed when viewing scores Also, the start-up screen has been updated with a somehow "slicker" design and default font has been changed - not sure whether I liked the old style better, though.

The preview writer are right. This game isn't free. The only one for free, is to download. Read the register button on their website: "GET SOLITAIRE 3D FOR ONLY $9.95! ..."

nobody2011, thanks for bringing this to my attention. I've updated the listing to reflect that fact that it is $9.95.

The developer's web site clearly states that this is trial or demo software, not free.

Agreed about the Bait and Switch feeling... it should be called trialware or crippleware.

Four great solitaire games for free (more if you pay). The BIG drawback is that Free Solitaire 3D 4.4 will deactivate Spaces. This means that whenever you need to access another space for e-mail, etc., you must quit Free Solitaire first. A bummer.

Free? Same old story. This game is not free. On attempting to play a game, it quit, but sent me to their website stating the game is $19.95. Into the bit bucket it goes!

It is free - something must have gone wrong on your system - try downloading it again to see if it helps.

This is a DEMO, not free! It's fine that they limit the type of games to just a few, but the limit the deal sequences to 6. That gets old in 15 minutes. That makes it a demo not a free game. Has a weird play method that allows you to place all cards in open spots not just kings. It does have Cool 3D effects.

Awesome! I love the level of customization you have with this! Lighting, camera, card shape, board type... really cool. Played several hands of Klondike and messed around using some vacation pics from Japan to make a few boards. Any hope of making card sets too?? (Then it would be everything Reko Solitaire was on the Amiga and more!) You may want to change it to say FREE on here instead of demo... I tried it anyway with the name Free Solitaire 3D even though it says demo.

It's not free. There are a number of "shareware" implemented limitations in it....like only allowing you to play up to 5 Solitaire game types unless you purchase.
