It did help me to recover all my music after my laptop was stolen and the people at Apple told me there was no way I could sync it back to my new MacBook ... unless I'd use Diskaid!
Good point for the rapid updates too, as it seems like it is ofter required ;-)

This is now my main tool for file transfer and is indispensable.

The user interface is pretty simple, as it should be and does what it should. The only problem is that sometimes the application bombs, for example, the first time I go to the "Photos", it bombs. Upon reopening, I can view the photos on the attached iPad.
Overall, this is a useful application.
It uses some iTunes drivers, but there is a workaround (http://www.digidna.net/help/diskaid/user-guides/manually-install-apple-mobile-device-support)
The Photos part is pretty tricky, this is however something we are aware of and working on so that should be fixed in a future stability release.

iMac with OS X 10.6.2 / 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo / 8 Go 1067 MHz RAM
Please make sure you run the latest iTunes version, if not please upgrade, and if so reinstall it. Restart your Mac and try again.
