Today I ran into your application "jCodeCollector" which looks pretty usefull to me.
Checking it out on Mac OS-X (Snow Leopard), I've got the Following Remarks:
1) Database Location:
Due to the fact that I'm working on different platforms on different computers, I was wondering whether it would be possible to share the "Code Snippets Database" between the platforms.
I was thinking of storing the "Code Snippets Database" on some kind of (dedicated) USB-Stick.
I only noticed features to Backup / Restore the "database". Backup to a fixed location and Restore by (guided) manual intervention.
2) Window Restore on Mac
When minimizing jCodeCollector, the only way to get it back in sight is through the Doc.
It would be nice to have other features to restore the window.
3) Any plans on creating a related Mac OS-X Widget?
Thanks for your answer.
Regards,
Rob van Eerd
You gave me some interesting ideas! I think I could implement a "portable jCC" in the next version. Unfortunately I have too many things to do (aka: exams!!), the new version will not be released quickly...
Anyway, thank you for your feedback!
