Because of the fact that the application is listed as universal binary on the developer's site, I've contacted them to see if they can clear up the confusion. I'll keep you posted.

A small request that would be particularly useful when working on scanned architectural drawings: the ability to define a custom scale.
A similar functionality exists in Meander, but meander is completely overblown when the only thing I want to measure in the straight distance between two points...
I imagine the custom scale to work as follows:
1. Extend the two ruler handles to between two known points on the scanned drawings.
2. Choose "Custom scale..." from the scaling menu
3. Enter a custom distance that matches the scaled distance on the drawing
4. From now on, all distances displayed are multiplied by the custom scale factor.
This would make this already great tool absolutely perfect for me!

Upon further examining the interface. PixelStick does offer a way to constrain movement, albeit not via key combinations. Perhaps the current method is better; I am not sure at this point. But the feature exists. Thank you again for such a neat tool.

Incorporating the ability to constrain movements would make this a perfect graphics tool.
