Lucid para Mac

I like this software. My only concern is that this company continues to update their filter plugins called "Perfectly Clear". But, they are not updating Lucid at the same rate and have not done so in a good while now. Perhaps there is some internal reasons for this or they have an update cycle they have that I am not privy too. It’s just that I fear abandonware and, having been a mac user for long enough and burned as a former Bibble user, it’s a legitimate concern. Even so, I find Lucid to be an excellent application and I have no regrets purchasing it or using it. I purchased this when I no longer had any good photo editing software. It was surprisingly good and better than “good enough”. I just got a license for Luminar and I am seeing how that will fit in my future workflow. Yes, Lucid is a one hit wonder - of sorts. You do have some ability to modify what it does. The good news is, it gets it right so much of the time, it really is a time saver. I have started to trust it more and more with my photo edits, and that is not an easy thing for me.

So I have seen this product on the market but thought twice about the purchase. Received the offer from Macupdate last night for half off and there was not much to think about so I said to myself " Why Not ". The application is fast opens my 5D MKII files with no problem and would have to say after playing with the application for a few hours now I would have no problem paying full price it does as advertise and is allowing me to cut my workflow in half. A+++++++ happy camper at half the cost. Thank you Macupdate for such a great offer.

It's easy and automatic...literally, customizable auto-correct. I'm pretty happy!

Basic image enhancer using the default CIFilters API provided by Apple. Nothing special. Those filters are also found in Pixelmator. Note: Also crashed several times when adding very huge image files. In the end too expensive.
