This is outdated software. Last updated for Mac in 2004. The Windows version took over a year before the 64 bit Vista/Windows 7 version was finally updated. The Mac version of eFax Messenger 3.1.10 does not work on Intel based Macs, and so will not work on any current Mac running Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard. Even though the software will install, IT WILL NOT SEND FAXES. The software is very basic compared to the current Windows version. There is no WSIWYG cover sheet option. You cannot drag and drop files to attachment section. Faxes cannot be previewed. Faxes sent to multiple numbers simultaneously (such as a fax copy to yourself) cannot be performed. In short, I am very disappointed about eFax.com's approach to updating their software in a timely fashion. Really, it has been 6 YEARS since the LAST UPDATE. The online websend version of eFax does not compare to the Windows desktop software counterpart. Not even close. It is a shame that the Mac version is not updated, more of an embarrassment that the current download is not even functional on Intel Macs. Come on eFax, get with the program! (no pun intended). I CANNOT RECOMMEND EFAX AS A RELIABLE COMPANY OR SERVICE PROVIDER UNTIL THEY UPDATE THEIR SOFTWARE. Really, you pay $16.95/mo for it, shouldn't it work ?
