Solitaire Till Dawn apparently just released (Nov 6 2014) $9.99 on Mac App Store for Snow Leo, Lion, Mtn Lion, Mavericks & Yosemite. I bought this in 1990s and still have it on a Snow Leo Mac. A great solitaire game which have enjoyed for nearly 20 years. I plan on buying the new version. Thanks to Rick Holzgrafe for original versions and continued new version.

This has been a good game but is now outdated. Check out the newer version of the game at the App Store.

This is clearly the best solitaire game ever written for either Mac or PC. It is based upon PPC code but has been rewritten for 10.7 and up. It is now in beta and will be released in the App Store. I have been using the beta version and it is just like the old version. Really nice to have it back. Keep an eye out in the App Store.

I love this app, but on searching potential non-compatible apps with up-coming Rosetta free Lion, find that this app will no longer work.

Has always been my wife's and my favorite set of games. But since it's PowerPC only and hasn't upgraded in years it appears to be a dead horse.

This app is waaaaayyyy overdue to be Universal Binary. Without this update, it won't run on Snow Leopard. As it is it doesn't run Native on any Intel Mac. I'd like to ask the developer what is the timetable to get this fixed.

I really enjoy my Solitaire Till Dawn X. It helps me unwind. One suggestion I have is to be able to reset or restart a "lost" game so I can try other moves until I win it. I also got one for my 80 year old mother to enjoy on her new iBook.

Causes a kernel panic on my computer, has happened about 3-4 times when I was dragging a card on the screen.

Pretty much the top of the heap when it comes to multi-solitaire games. Nice!

Solitaire is the best bargain in games - of any kind - out there. It has everything you want in a card game: stats, decor options, easy to follow rules, and excellent playability. And they are always looking for ways to improve it. GOOD JOB, folks!

This application is well named: I have stayed up until dawn many, many nights. You could have made it a little less engaging...maybe I'd get better sleep!

The One and Only: Superior graphics, NEVER crashes, feature rich, classy looking and such a huge assortment of games. No other solitaire game comes close. Also, the developer is extremely open to requests for new games: I requested one "Kings in the Corner," and he added two versions of it (+"Four Seasons"). DOWNLOAD AND REGISTER NOW

I can not fathom the negative reviews. Here is splendid selection of games developed in a classy fashion. This is the clear leader in Solitaire since the Old Days with a responsive developer who offers excellent value.

Been playing these wonderful games since the Classic version. Easy to install, very stable and has some games that I've been playing since I was a little girl. The only thing I could wish for is better how-to info on how to play some of the games. Some of the how-to's are confusing and I don't get it even after trying to play. But, out of the many, many games included, I do understand most and regularly play about 20--some of which I can win pretty regularly, others I only win once in a blue moon. But that's the fun!

I can't help but wonder whether or not the dissenting opinions already posted don't belong to someone else who has created a competing solitaire game. I have owned STD since its original version and have never been able to find an improvement. I have only had to pay for ONE upgrade in all those years, and I got that one at a reduced price as a registered user. In fact, many Windoze users have played this game at my house and lament that Mac has such a user-friendly and graphics-rich program that does not rely upon silly animations, but rather incorporates its graphic powers into the GUI itself. I've never evaluated software on any site before, but those two reviews hit me as so bogus that I had to take the time, even though I'm about to go teach high school in a few minutes...

Very disappointing. The play is limited and slow. Not worth the money.

The author has done a great job migrating this game to OS X. It's still the best solitaire game for the Mac. Highly recommended.

Needs a "winable" option. Play is too slow. Needs one key selections instead of menu or 2 key. Graphics at smaller size are fuzzy. All the games except Klondike could be dropped. The price is so high it is laughable !!!
