Just bought it. This app works well on OS X Yosemite and OS X El Capitan.
You can blur the background window! And ISOLATOR app NOT!

No, I'm not getting paid for writing this.

I'm a loyal user of turn off the lights, I use the browser extension and now the app.
The developer do a great job! One of the reason is to support open-source browser extension.

Okay, I'm late to this party, but how is this NOT isolator? I'm not picking on the program or assuming anything. But the video on the developer's site sure looks like it works just like isolator. I would honestly like more information.

Great app! The price seems totally reasonable, because you got different type of layers. (And YES Gaussian Blur is back :-D) Other apps do ONLY have a black layer. And I really like this app. Now I can dim my full desktop screen and cut my YouTube video frame out of this dark layer. Another feature they got; advanced time schedule when the lights go off or on. Check the video on their website!

I honestly don't see how this is any different than the free Isolator program. Maybe it is, but I'm not going to spend $25 to find out.
