ChitChat overview

ChitChat (was WhatsMac) is a native Mac wrapper around WhatsApp's web client, WhatsApp Web. It allows you to receive Notification Center notifications for new messages, and adds some useful keyboard shortcuts:

Start a new conversation: ⌘N
Search past conversations: ⌘F
Jump to your 1st..9th most recent conversation: ⌘1..⌘9

Inspired by, and in small part based on, Messenger for Mac, created by Rasmus Andersson. WhatsMac uses some code from this project.

I've been using ChitChat for about six months now and love it, it worked really well up until yesterday. For no apparent reason it has stopped sending messages in all my group chats. Any messages I send stay stuck with the little timer symbol indefinitely, and never get the tick that means they've been fully sent. When I go to whatsapp on my iPhone, none of the messages I've attempted to send show up. I can receive messages on my macbook no problem. Does anyone have any ideas to help me out?! Thanks!

Nice utility, it looks exactly like the webapp, but its helpful in the sense that it provides a distinct "window" for the WhatsApp chats. Note that the notifications default is "on", so if you don't want those you need to turn it off.

so this is nice and all, but how are you supposed to log-in? It asks verification through QR code... the iOS version of WhatsApp doesn't support taking QR codes
