Pretty good - way better than Synergy, but has a bug where cursor doesn't re-show when cursor is moved back to my Mac and I have to hit command-tab to trick OS X into showing the cursor again.

Hrmm... Seemed to be ok. All of the demo stuff works for a while, then will throw an alert beyond the demo period. File drag/drop (simple only tested), modifier key for switch and multiple monitors all seemed fine. Switch animation seemed a little overkill/slow, but other than that seemed fine. I have 2 monitors on my tower trying to go to my laptop (which makes 3). Popup shows with "purchase an inexpensive license". Go to buy page. "Inexpensive license" is $50 a year? For a software KVM? I'll keep looking.

Should clarify it's $50 for the product w/ a year of "maintenance" (upgrades?). Still. Waaaaaay too much for a soft KVM.

I use the free version of Sharemouse to control my iMac and second monitor and the MBP on the far side of the desk. It's easy to set up and no further thought required to use it. The only suggestion I have (and I'd post this on the dev's forum, only it's down right now), is that the arrow trail that's visible when moving from one screen/computer to another ought to have a disable option in the app's preferences panel.

You can disable arrow trails by disabling dimming in the section "Misc" of the program settings

Would use it if it A) didn't make you pay for each system and B) supported more than 2 monitors without stepping up to pro. I have children who need this for school, for example, who each have more than two monitors. Kind of makes this a silly proposition for them and we just stick with Synergy.
