What’s new in version 1.6
Updated on Oct 30 2014
Version 1.6:
New Features:
Now you can arrange windows in thirds!
Hold down the Option/Cmd key while snapping to switch between halves/thirds (for left- and right-snapping only!)
Holding down the Option key while top-snapping will invert the setting for full-size/center
I like the idea of this app but it's a bit too complicated to use. By the time I've figured out what option I want from the menu, I could have done it manually faster. The window snapping ddidn't work on my system (yoesmite), something that works well in BetterTouch tool App.
I'm afraid this one doesn't work the way I do. Having separate settings for the Finder and for other apps is just confusing.
Also— maybe something else I had installed was interfering— but apps wouldn't instantly 'take' the keybindings I applied. This hasn't happened with competing window managers.
Works great. I couldn't see some apps that were still thinking they were attached to my external (secondary) monitor. Installed Arranger and opened the "missing" application and clicked Arranger /Application/Left and now I see it on my left hand (built in LCD) screen. Awesome program!
