Sorry if this is a stupid question, but does it display the actual information directly in the menu bar? It seems like every screenshot only shows that you can open palettes from the menu bar to view information, but it doesn't make it clear if it can communicate directly through menu bar icons like MenuMeters does. There doesn't seem to be a demo version either. MenuMeters is good and free, but last I heard, it only works on El Capitan if you get an unofficial patch, and I'm concerned it may be on its way out.

Unfortunately the hanging issue is not fixed on OS X Mavericks GM. When the memory is being cleaned, the percentage indicator still stays stuck and never reaches 100%.
