Analyze the information being sent over your network.

Overview

Debookee is a LAN and Wi-Fi packet-capture tool and network analyzer that allows you to see what your devices are sending over the network.

Features
  • One click SSL/TLS decryption for your own and all targets traffic
  • See full HTTPS URLs, HTTPS headers and HTTPS response codes (Full raw payload data is not shown)
  • Decrypt IMAPS email traffic (soon on POP3s/SMTPs/FTPS)
Full raw data is shown, not only headers
  • Intercept traffic from any device on your network: iPhone, iPad, Android, BlackBerry, PC, Mac, etc. Now you can analyze the traffic of devices that can't support packet capture, such as mobile, tablets, etc.
  • Real-time packet capture analysis: extraction of requests details such as: HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, TCP, DHCP.
  • LanScan Pro integrated: To perform an initial scan of your network, a version of LanScan Pro is integrated in Debookee.
  • Wifi connection details: Channel, Signal Strength, MAC address of the Access Point ...
  • Monitor activity of all Wi-Fi devices around you, access points, and clients
  • Per Wi-Fi client, display data transmitted/received, %errors, data rates, %retries...

The price quoted is that of the NA module alone. Pricing information can be found here.

What's new in Debookee

  • LanScan: Add your custom URLs (specific port, http or https) for each device
  • NA module: Fixed a bug where no results where shown at all due to Packet Tool silently crashing in the background
  • Enabled Hardened Runtime on included libraries & binaries following Apple best practices

Most helpful

Deleted the app and it still shows in my task list and somehow in my dock.

It installed a bunch of stuff that still lingers in Activity Monitor even after the app has been removed with removal tools:

Debookee Web Content
Debookee Networking
Debookee (Not Responding)
com.iwaxx.Debookee.PacketTool

Starting to wonder about the legitimacy of what this thing is doing...

Really need a way to de-install this... not just part of it either. Need a BoM of what it spread around my system.

Would love to test this, but the app hangs. Spinning rainbow wheel. Followed instructions, selecting target from my list and pressing the Start NA and nothing. Just hangs. After force quitting, getting the infamous Send Report to Apple dialog. Snippet of the report: Event: hang After my fifth attempt, its time to give up and move on.

Not a heavy user. But it seems to work for me. I have both Debookee and LANScan. If I were going to make a product suggestion, it would be the ability to buy both of them in a bundled price.

APP Does Not Work!!! Waste of $30!! I start the app and then select my IP address and then click "Start Dbk" in the upper left and nothing happens! Nothing shows up on the left side under "Own Traffic". Even when I surf the web browse the network access secured servers and data shares, nada! Truly a waste of money! Send in an email asking for help and no one has replied!

Is it supposed to be funny that is says "Lan your Scan" instead of "Scan your LAN" in the toolbar of Debookee? Or is this some kind of bug?
