ArcSoft is known for creating Windows software so this Mac version is really not a Mac-style programme to start with. This concerns everything: interface, windows styles, menues, preferences etc. As to the features, it is OK for a photo amateur, or a stylist, perhaps, to get a rough idea on different makeups, but not for a serious photographer. The features lack enough control for finetuning: for instance, each lip is defined by 4 points only, but if a person makes an asymmetric smile, it is virtually impossible to fit the adjustment curve. The same goes for the eyes which are also defined by 4 points: too small number, especially if the person on the photo is shot with a turned head. The skin is oversmoothed to such extent that the morphological features change and there is no control upon the amount applied. This is why the result looks spectacular on the provided "plastic face" demo models, but is far from impressive on a real person with imperfections which could even be amplified. So a nice toy, but not a serious photo-editing tool.

I purchased the promo 19.99 of Perfect365. I never received an email with the link to download the full version. I wrote to Arcsoft 3 times and still no help in supplying me with the software. I should have spent the extra money and purchased the software from the App Store which is a lot more reliable.

Sorry, but WHAT enabling code? Even using the 'code' in my ArcSoft email, I still got the crippled, feature-free version... this has got to be a total waste of money. How can I apply for a refund????
