- Lighting brushes. Bring your pictures to life with all-new Lighting Brushes. Easy to use, easy to customise for advanced tweaking, and works as advertised.
Never had a problem with the program until version 17 on High Sierra (both were just released), I posted a support query and the devs responded immediately and fixed the problem exceptionally quickly.
So I give the program and the developers five stars.

This will be a some what Schizophrenic review:
I have used the software since version 10 and it has preformed great most of the time. I had problems with version 10 and the tech support was less than helpful. The problems were fixed in version 11. Version 12 has had no problems. The program is easy to use and the results are impressive. I am using the 64 bit version on a Mac Pro. The only issue is the automatic face recognition. It does not always work. Once I turned it off and sit up the photo manually the program worked fine.
Now comes the second half of the review. The program is fine but the company organization is less than helpful. Trying to get questions answered or even to sign into their forum is a nightmare. The company is not customer friendly.
This is my problem. The software is great and if you never need assistance you will be fine. If something goes wrong or if you need a simple question answered the crap storm starts. I just tried to sign into the forum and the error message told me my main eMail address was not valid. The only other company that was worse was called BIAS and they are no longer in business.
I wish MacUpdate had separate ratings for the software and the company. The software gets a 5 and the company gets a 0. I am going to rate the software at 4.5 since it works great but I don't know what to do about company. I always ask if the product is worth the crap you have to put up with to use it. In Adobe's and BIAS's case the answer was no. With Portrait Professional the jury is still out.
