Although requirements state OS 10.8... this seems to run very well on my MacPro with OS 10.6.8.

Today I got an email from Aquafadas: "Simple interface to improve your efficiency". Why don't they use it by themselves?

Soon I can celebrate anniversary of buying (and paying for) a software which only (falsely) tells me: Your Flash Player is too old and then crashes. No response from Aquafadas on numerous inquiries. Just ignorant.

Now v 1.8.4 is out. It shows the same stupid alert:
Your version of Flash Player is too old for MotionComposer (10.0.45).
Here is Flash Player Plug-In-Version 21.0.0.242.
These guys are simply unable.

Is this a NEW version? Version 1.8.2 has been out for quite a while now. It would be nice to know so we users don't waste time re-downloading it.

It's dated 23. May 2014.
I wanted to use my registration code and read:
"Sorry, there was a problem on our server.
Contact us here : http://helpdesk.aquafadas.com/"
This server seems to be down.
So, same ignorance and poor performance since 3 (three) months.

I lost count how many months Aquafadas is now sitting on their backside doing nothing.
The app can*t be started but if the performance of the app matches the performance of the developers it's perhaps not worth to wait further

If it's using Flash and not HTML 5, it's not worth it.

MotionComposer tells me: Your version of Flash Player is too old for MotionComposer (10.0.45). Adobe's update check says: Adobe® Flash® Player ist auf diesem System auf dem neuesten Stand. So what? Read this: Adobe wird den Flash Player beerdigen http://www.welt.de/wirtschaft/webwelt/article149531769/Adobe-wird-den-Flash-Player-beerdigen.html We are chewing this problem since >2 weeks - no solution. Now it's 2 (two) months that I can't use this software.
Nobody cares - not Aquafadas, not StackCommerce who sold it.

Why does Aquafadas still stick to those notorious Oracle software?

Meanwhile this gets ridiculous.
After 10 (ten) weeks the gurus of Aquafadas are unable to fix this problem.
The app complains about Flash Player which is already dead but Aquafadas keeps sticking to it instead of removing its link in their software.
Unable or indolent?

It appears that this app will only load on one computer, even if the second is only owned/used by the same person. I tried to load it on my MacBook to use while I'm away from home but it would not accept the serial number. Most of my apps will work on a second computer.

This app is a typical one from aquafadas. Looks awesome but leak in several things. They blending with a high price for their apps and often included in bundles for a very low price to catch some customers who are often Beta users. Don't waste your money for them.

Bought MotionComposer 1.7 as part of bundle from StackSocial only to find that the software, once downloaded, will not open on Mac OS X 10.9 ... and there seems to be no way of contacting the developer for support. Indeed, when I try clicking on the app, I get a message saying "MotionComposer" can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer. Will not be giving my money to either StackSocial or MotionComposer from here on, just posting this so others can try to avoid this scam. And for MacUpdate ... if I can't even open the program OR get support, I don't know why this even deserves the minimum .5 rating. I wish the option for less than 0 were available to indicate the waste of time and money.

MotionComposer 1.7 works flawlessly on Mac OSX 10.9! In your case you have to "Allow apps downloaded from: Anywhere". Activate this in your System Preferences - Security & Privacy - General.

@Baianamisty
You should not let your lack of technical knowledge trick you into publishing silly rants that only embarrass you and drive you to make outlandish accusations which are false and defamatory. There is no "scam" involved. Many applications downloaded over the Internet will not open directly, due to security precautions, as Raro is pointing out. You can get around this by holding down the Control key as you select such an application for launch. You will get a contextual menu: choose Open, and the application will launch just fine.

The current version / download of Motion Composer does not require this procedure; it opens directly when double-clicked.

A year and a half has passed since receiving advice or support — I had recently moved to System 10.9 and could have been forgiven for not knowing about changing settings allowing for downloads. But the reply that I received from the MacUpdate deam (or from the developer of this sottware) was less than prompt or professional, and quite condescending. The take away lesson — the people running this show may be typical of computer related money spinners .... kids that need to grow up and learn to treat customers as adult human beings. Caveat Emptor.

Same as most of the replies here: Seems like an old program that was great in it;s time trying to fit into the new gen with no real updates to match. Such a shame because it looks so promising! BTW, can't seem to change the star rating once their set
