Although requirements state OS 10.8... this seems to run very well on my MacPro with OS 10.6.8.

Today I got an email from Aquafadas: "Simple interface to improve your efficiency". Why don't they use it by themselves?

Soon I can celebrate anniversary of buying (and paying for) a software which only (falsely) tells me: Your Flash Player is too old and then crashes. No response from Aquafadas on numerous inquiries. Just ignorant.

Is this a NEW version? Version 1.8.2 has been out for quite a while now. It would be nice to know so we users don't waste time re-downloading it.

If it's using Flash and not HTML 5, it's not worth it.

MotionComposer tells me: Your version of Flash Player is too old for MotionComposer (10.0.45). Adobe's update check says: Adobe® Flash® Player ist auf diesem System auf dem neuesten Stand. So what? Read this: Adobe wird den Flash Player beerdigen http://www.welt.de/wirtschaft/webwelt/article149531769/Adobe-wird-den-Flash-Player-beerdigen.html We are chewing this problem since >2 weeks - no solution. It appears that this app will only load on one computer, even if the second is only owned/used by the same person. I tried to load it on my MacBook to use while I'm away from home but it would not accept the serial number. Most of my apps will work on a second computer.

This app is a typical one from aquafadas. Looks awesome but leak in several things. They blending with a high price for their apps and often included in bundles for a very low price to catch some customers who are often Beta users. Don't waste your money for them.

Bought MotionComposer 1.7 as part of bundle from StackSocial only to find that the software, once downloaded, will not open on Mac OS X 10.9 ... and there seems to be no way of contacting the developer for support. Indeed, when I try clicking on the app, I get a message saying "MotionComposer" can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer. Will not be giving my money to either StackSocial or MotionComposer from here on, just posting this so others can try to avoid this scam. And for MacUpdate ... if I can't even open the program OR get support, I don't know why this even deserves the minimum .5 rating. I wish the option for less than 0 were available to indicate the waste of time and money.

Same as most of the replies here: Seems like an old program that was great in it;s time trying to fit into the new gen with no real updates to match. Such a shame because it looks so promising! BTW, can't seem to change the star rating once their set

Sorry, but this software is not what they show on the can, the features are confusing to use, after spending an hour trying to get it to do more than just a very simple up and down motion (anyone remember Webtricity) I just had to give up then I let my wife play with it and she is really good at using just about any software and she was pulling out her hair after three hours, there must be hidden features where you have to figure out where they are but so far I cant get it to work beyond just a very frustrating simpleton type demo

This app has a lot of good features and can produce some very effective results. It's a little overwhelming when you first try it, by once you get used to the workflow, it is quite intuitive and efficient. Performance of finished animations (especially HTML5 versions) can be a bit hit and miss, but newer browsers and mobile devices seem to work reasonably well. Would love an easy way to scale animations for different screen sizes, as it currently very difficult to create an animation that works well in a responsive website.

Bought the MacUpdate Bundle since i have a project where this tool could come in handy. Fought my way through the user interface which is at least to me, not intuitive at all. Worked for 3 hours with preview showing me nice results. BUT exporting to html5 and previewing it in browser made me almost cry. The output quality is really bad in html5 and far of from the in program preview - at least for my basic tabbed slideshow needs. The tool was unusable with the give HTML5 output quality and the time spent for nothing since i had to redo everything in a different software that works like a charm now (beautiful html5 output there). Flash output was like the in program preview. But flash is out the door - so no use in exporting to flash. I can see that the developers tried creating an easy program with nice example templates but working with is at least for me not intuitive and easy. Will give it a try again after a major update.

I purchased the last bundle mostly for this tool, but the controls are not intuitive, (not that I can see) I find most control surfaces to be easy to understand this one feels like someone spilled coke all over it, I am not very happy about spending money for what appears to be cotton candy with sand in it.

Getting a black featureless screen when the program is started. Can't do anything. None of the pallettes will come up with the exception of the image/audio pallette. Was really counting on this program for small projects @ work.

It's only giving me a black screen upon launch. No way to add text, images or audio, none of the buttons is working except publish which then will result in an endlessly running export. Any Ideas?

I would love to see MotionComposer in action, but currently its very frustrating as it almost crashes on every single template document on a retina macbook pro. I need to see templates in working, since there isn't sufficient tutorials or documentation available. So, a bit disappointed that I'm not able to use software I pay for :(

MotionComposer requirements have a typo mistake : it's compatible with Mac OS X Snow Leopard, Lion, Mountain Lion. If you want, you can try in demo version. System requirements : Mac OS X 10.6.8 or above ; 1 GHz Intel-based Mac ; 1 GB of RAM ; Flash® Player v10.0.1 or above ; Internet connection required for registration and online publishing

Question: This apparently outputs to Flash and HTML5. Does that pretty much cover a wide variety of desktop and mobile viewers? Or are there older-but-still-used browsers that this won't serve?
